Welcome!

Welcome to the Richland Community Food Pantry

The Richland Community Food Pantry has been serving county families with food support for over 30 years. The Pantry is staffed and operated by community volunteers and the Pantry is fully funded by donations from Richland County families, businesses, and county grants with the express purpose of providing a healthy volume and variety of foodstuffs for all Richland County families who visit.

The Richland Community Food Pantry operates from the Lighthouse Chapel church building once a week every Wednesday afternoon. Food distribution begins at 4 pm and continues for all people arriving at the Lighthouse Chapel before 5:30 pm. Food distribution is drive-through (though walk-ups can be accommodated). In the case of inclement weather, the Pantry will follow the RichlandSchool District’s cancellation decisions (or as otherwise reported on WRCO radio)

On your arrival, your vehicle will be numbered and served in order based on these numbers.  You will be asked how many persons share food in your household and if more than one household is represented in your vehicle. Food will be packed based on your household size and delivered to your car

The Richland Community Food Pantry policy recommends a limit of two weekly visits per household per month for full food distribution, but, everyone who comes to the Pantry on a given week will receive food.

Questions or comments about your experience at Richland Community Food Pantry are always appreciated.

Thank you,
